Microeconomic concepts and theories are widely applicable in the area of managerial and business decision making. Managers of firms involved in producing goods and services have to make decisions on: What goods and services to produce? How to produce? Whom to produce? Where to produce? They have to determine prices of their products. Likewise, they must make payment for various factors of production and resource suppliers. The study of microeconomics helps managers to make decisions on such various issues.
Realizing this fact, various Universities of the world as well as the Universities of Nepal offering Management Education introduce microeconomics and macroeconomics in the undergraduate level. This book Microeconomics is written as per the esteemed Four Years BBA syllabus of Tribhuvan University. We have explained each of the topics in great detail using theoretical explanation with examples and figures. As per the new syllabus, we have included numerical problems with solution. We have added brief, short and comprehensive questions at the end of each chapter. We have tried to make the book student friendly with full coverage of the designed syllabus. We hope that the book will also be equally useful for other Bachelor Level Programs on Microeconomics of other Universities of Nepal.
