It is very challenging to teach the Law of Business to the management students, who do not have any rudimentary knowledge about law. The students of BBA are from the non-law background, they would not have had any opportunity to study even the fundamentals of law. This book is prepared to fulfil need of the same types of students.
The past editions of this book have received enthusiastic response from the students as well as teachers which has inspired me to prepare third edition.
This book is intended to serve the students of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) conducted by the Tribhuvan University. This book is prepared strictly to meet the new course of study of BBA, TU, however, is equally useful to the management students of other universities, LLB and Chartered Accountants of ICAN.
The subjects of this book are divided into four parts: The first part deals with introductory chapter about law and business law. The second part deals with general law of contract (formation, performance and termination), the third part deals with special contracts (law of agency, sale of goods, and law of carriage), and fourth part deals with the specific Acts which includes the law of negotiable instruments and law of insolvency.
There are provided the appendix part including course outline of BBA, TU, past exam papers and the subject index in the end and glossary in front of first chapter.
