Business law is a very challenging subject to the students of management because they do not have any fundamental knowledge of law as they come from the non-law background. Due to this fact, this book is prepared on the basis of 'teach yourself approach', and as accordance to the BBA course, Pokhara University. This book is intended to serve as a basic text book for the BBA and BBA-BI students of Pokhara University. This book is useful to the students of BA, LL.B, BBS, BHM and Chartered Accountants under ICAN.
The past experiences inspired me to prepare this book: (i) 'there is no single book covering entire course of BBA/BBA–BI of Pokhara University, and (ii) my two books 'Principles of Business Law' for BBS, TU and BBA , PuU and 'Business Law: Theory and Practice' for BBA, TU have received enthusiastic response in the market. This book is the new stem of these two publications with the past experiences.
This book is dividend into nine chapters according to the course of study. Each chapter starts with clear concepts, necessary illustration, giving priority to the Nepalese statutes and case laws comparing with the English and Indian cases/laws as the source of Nepalese business law; end of the each chapter incorporates chapter summary and practice questions. The appendix of this book consists of new course of study, questions and glossary of technical legal terms.
